This year, the relation between the US and China have witnessed major drops from. Amid all this recently US revoked the visa of more than a thousand Chinese students who were coming to the US from China on a student visa.

Why such a move?

The move was issued by President Trump in May end this year and got implemented form June 1st. It says that China is involved in wide-ranging and heavily resourced campaign to acquire sensitive United States technologies and intellectual property to boost and modernize its own military capabilities. US Secretary of States Mike Pompeo flagged moves on a Student visa.

Chinese students in the US

Chinese students stand at number one in terms of international university students in the US. As per the latest data, three hundred seventy thousand students were enrolled in the various universities in the US in the 2018-19 session. Some Chinese students who are already in US universities recently received an email from the US embassy in Beijing stating that their visa has been cancelled and if they want to travel in the US they have to apply for a new visa.

Way ahead

In the wake of recent time, the U.S. and China both the country has witnessed a huge drop in the relationship. Before this issue of visa cancellation, a ban on core commodities like, cotton and tomato also made a big headline across the global news platform. A trade war plus blame game between both the country for the spread of the Corona Virus has already made the relationship sour.
